We have several individuals in the parish who commit themselves to pray every single day for the needs of others, as expressed to our Prayer Ministry through word of mouth, email, or via our webpage.

These prayerful parishioners continue what our ancient ancestors did way back in biblical days.  Abraham, Moses, Ezekiel all prayed to God in intercession for others. Many times Saint Paul asked for prayers and he himself prayed for others. Saint James says very clearly that we should “pray for one another.”

As members of the Body of Christ, we are united with one another in a Holy Communion.  Praying with and for other people is one of the most powerful ways to love one’s neighbor, and we are edified by their faithfulness and dedication to bring the power of prayer to challenging situations.
